SHIFT SUMMARY:
After all 3-detectors went down after the EQ, Virgo is still down and in a "troubleshooting" state. Other than the big EQ, it was a fairly straightforward shift for the 2nd half of the shift.
LOG:
Addressed TCS Chillers (21:44-21:53utc)
Just after the noon hour (19:09utc), took H1 back to OBSERVING after the 7.1 EQ & rejoined L1. Screenshot of SDF diffs which were all ACCEPTED is attached.
There were a handful of miniscule SDF diffs of 10^-10 or smaller.
There was also the usual ASC RF36 recurring diff we've had for the last couple of weeks.
Thought there was a chance we'd ride through this one as I watched signals get bigger and bigger over 30min, but as Seismon predicted, the R-waves did us in at exactly the time Seismon predicted they would! Attached are screenshots of what I was looking at here in the Control Room. Below is a timeline.
Will wait it out with Green Arms or in the DOWN state as I wait for seismic waves/ringing to subside.
Didn't really calm down until about 17:05, but even then locking wasn't great.
In the middle of an alignment now.

Smooth running with H1 going on a 26.5hr lock & BNS range hovering around 115Mpc. Nice to see a calmer seismic picture over the last 24hrs with low winds.
D'oh. Spoke too soon. Have an incoming EQ (7.1 near Timore-Leste) listed as "large eq". It is about 40min out for its R-Waves. Will keep monitoring as it arrives.

Very nice shift for H1 with smooth running and only a small EQ which was not an issue at all. Ended the shift with excitement from a possible BBH candidate with all three detectors online.

H1 humming along just under 120Mpc. Something new from last time I was on shift a week ago are noisy periods for DARM blrms for the 500-1k & 1k-2k bands (attached) for multiple minutes at a time.
