Camilla Compton September 2023 /opt/rtcds/userapps/release/tcs/h1/scripts/RS_calibration/ To re-calibrate CO2 rotation stages: 1. Ask operators permission 2. Search for home on CO2 rotation stage (sitemap > TCS > CO2X/Y > Power control > Search for Home) 3. Make sure Central masks are in (use TCS_CO2X/Y_MASKS guardians) 4. Run command `python CO2X_calib.py` and `python CO2X_calib.py` 5. When finished, take both CO2 lasers back to minimum power (sitemap > TCS > CO2X/Y > Power control > Go to minimum power) 6. Open `matlab CalibRotStage.m` 7. Edit the CO2vals variable to be the correct filename of the saved data and edit the title to be correct. 8. Run Matlab code, save the plot for alog. 9. Compare the measured values with the current values in the calibration screen (sitemap > TCS > CO2X/Y > Power control > Calibration) Note that B "Minimum power angle" might need to be made positive e.g. 90 - 30.2 = 59.7) 10. Edit calibration values to new values and save in sdf (sitemap > TCS > CO2X/Y > Power control > Calibration) and (sitemap > GRD > SDF Overview). Bonus step: check that requesting the lscparams.tcs_nom_annular_pwr values that Guardian will request will give the expected output values.
