CO2 test tonight

I've set up a CO2 power stepper to run tonight, if the IFO is at NLN. The test starts at 9pm and will:

The total script should take 10 hours to run (done at 7am) and is running on ZOTWS24 (in the CUR).

 

The code is in:

/opt/rtcds/userapps/trunk/tcs/common/scripts/power_adj_scripts/co2_power_stepper.py

I've got the script running in 2 tabs, one for ITMY and one for ITMX.

Here are the buildups during this CO2 test. With

  • Lower CO2X, nominal CO2Y: increased circulating power in the Y arm, slight increase in REFL_LF, increase in POP18 to a point, looks like we went over a peak
  • Lower CO2X, high CO2Y: further increase in Y arm circulating power, decrease in kappa_C, and F_C, decrease in REFL, decrease in POP18, increase in POP9
  • Lower CO2X, lower CO2Y: Decrease in PR gain, arm circulating powers, good for POP18 and POP90, REFL increase
