Turned on a small cleanroom inside the filter cavity enclosure at 21:45:10 UTC, allowed to the cleanroom to run for 15 minutes, then turned it off. Turned cleanroom back ON at 22:00:00 UTC, once again I let the cleanroom run for 15 minutes. Cleanroom was not moved and it is now off.

LOG:
While preparing for the installation of a new PSL OPC Beckhoff SDF channel list it was discovered that the disconnected count for this system has been non-zero with no indication of such on the MEDM.
I have created a SDF_SC_NODE.adl file specifically for slow_controls system which shows a red border if the disconnected count is non-zero.

pH of PSL chiller water was measured to be between 10.0 and 10.5 according to the color of the test strip.

The temperature and relative humidity inside the laser room have been dropping slightly over the past few days (expected with the cooler temps outside).
The RefCav transmission was dropping, but appears to have turned around in recent days.
At 04:27:55 PDT the outbuilding weather station channels stopped updating.
At 09:45 I restarted the weather station ioc processes on h0epics while H1 was unlocked.
I verified that the other IOCs running on h0epics (dust monitors and dewpoint sensors) did not stop early this morning.
Mon Oct 02 10:14:05 2023 INFO: Fill completed in 14min 1secs
Jordan confirmed a good fill curbside.
I've added indicators of the power watchdogs for the NPRO and both amps to the PSL overview medm (bottom-right of the layout block) so that it's more obvious if they're accidentally left off.

SHIFT SUMMARY:
Lockloss caused by Earthquake 00:54 UTC
This is how I found out that SeisMon is not reporting new earthquakes since September 30th. And we have certainly had earthquakes since then.
Tagging SEI again.
Lockloss at Find IR, Maybe because the gorund was still shaking.
I took that time to do an Initial Alignment.
Locking started at 01:40 UTC
OBSERVING again at 2:48 UTC
Rahul has found great settings to damp ITMY Mode5 & 6 for the full 4hour and 44 minutes of this lock. Both modes are on their way down.
Also See LHO Operators Mattermost Channel for notes to the next operators.

This is an interesting Earthquake Lockloss!
SEI went into Earthquake mode at 00:53:02 UTC
We lost lock a minute after that.
Sensors are picking up Big ground motion but Seismon only shows earthquakes from yesterday. And Still has not updated.
Picket Fence clearly picked up the Earthquake in all the traces.
Even USGS didn't tell me where the Earthquake was for over 10 minutes later.
Turns out It was a 4.7 off the coast of Oregon!!

Since yesterday we have been struggling to damp ITMY mode 05/06. The nominal settings (with reduced gains) works for some time (as it worked yesterday) and then it turns around and starts getting worse. Hence, I tweaked the settings and found a new one which seems to be working for now (the drive and both the modes have been decreasing for the last few hours),
New settings: FM6+FM8+FM10 Gain -0.02 (phase +30)
I unsuccessfully tried the following two settings which made IY05 worse (while it was working fine for IY06),
FM6+FM10 Gain -0.02 - did not work for IY05, works for IY06 (no phase)
FM6+FM7+FM10 Gain -0.02 - did not work for IY05, works for IY06 (phase -30)
For now I have set the gains to zero on lscparams and would like to test the new settings manually for few locks before committing it in guardian.
I will keep watching the progress for the next few hours.
We were kicked out of Observing for few minutes while I loaded the violin damping guardian. Also LLO was out of Observe at this time so this was a good opportunity to make the changes.
We lost lock in between, however after a new lock was acquired the above setting still looks to be working fine (2hrs and damping down nicely). I will leave it like this overnight and hopefully if we remain locked then IY05/06 should have made good progress.
IY mode 05 and 06 has dropped down by roughly two orders of magnitude since Sat morning - see screenshot attached.
I might try and increase the gain to speed it up.

SHIFT SUMMARY:
One lockloss today, and also addressing violins (see Rahul's alog)---the latter looks better.
LOG:
Had a lockloss this morning. Once h1 was back up to NLN, took this opportunity to lower the gain of ITMy Mode5 from -0.04 (nominal) to -0.02. Attaching another trend of the ITMy 5+6 modes for the last 3.5 days. (The cursor on the top plot is when Tony worked on Mode5 & the cursor on the plot below it is when Rahul made changes to address rung up Mode 6.
The camera/access system computer froze up. Access system came back fine, but the camera app can not connect to the server. Richard had me reboot the Bosch box in the Server Room, but still can't connect.
Here is a look at the OMC DCPD over the weekend. It looks as though the damping down of the violins is turning around and begining to ring up again. At 1955utc (1255pmPT) I took the ITMy Mode-5 gain from -0.02 down to -0.01 to see if this helps & will touch base with Rahul...and then go make lunch.
I have switched off damping for IY 03, 04, 07 and 08 and will then attempt to damp IY 05/06 in some time with reduced gains. This worked well all day yesterday, so will give it another try.
Edit - OK, the above strategy didn't work, IY 05/06 are still rising, I will need to change the phase and look for a new setting.
As reported in alog73105, the ZM6 looks more saturated recently so I offloaded the ZM6 by moving ZM4. The ZM5 and ZM6 follow the movement of ZM4 by SQZ ASC. The first attached figure shows that the ZM6 LL/UR output reduced from 32000 to 21000 by ZM4 change. The second/third attached figures show the saturation of ZMs before/after this offload. You can see that the ZM6 LL/UR output reduced from red to orange region, while the ZM4 output increased from green to orange region. I have not seen the obvious SQZ BLRMS change by this offload.
As expected there was no noticeable change in SQZ BLRMs before / after this ZM offloading (offloading at time of crosshair).
