I have turned off two stages of heat in the LVEA. With lights and cleanrooms operating we should be able to get by without these.
The seismic SVN repository has been moved to Kerberos access control, with the new location being: https://svn.ligo.caltech.edu/svn/seismic. (The previous site was https://svn-private.ligo.caltech.edu/repositories/seismic) Instead of wiping away the old directory and checking out the entire new one, I simply switched the site the SVN uses to update its local copy. I switched the site for the LHO CDS "controls" account (in the control room) and the X1 SEI Workstation copies. On the X1 SEI workstation, the repository local path is still the same: '/opt/svncommon/seisvn/seismic/HAM-ISI/' And in the Control Room, the "controls" user copy is still located at: '/hanford2/users/controls/isi_local_files/SVN/seismic/HAM-ISI/' New user names and passwords are the LIGO.ORG ones. On the workstation, here's the command I entered to switch the checkout site: >> svn switch --relocate https://svn-private.ligo.caltech.edu/repositories/seismic/HAM-ISI/ https://svn.ligo.caltech.edu/svn/seismic/HAM-ISI/ --username jeffrey.garcia@LIGO.ORG *entered in the '~/seismic/HAM-ISI/' directory.
Kyle, Ski - removed BSC1 south door. Rehung a few hours later. Kyle - Removed all but (4) door bolts from HAM2 and HAM3 East doors (Note-dropped large wrench from top of HAM3 and it hit cross beam)
We moved to ISCT10. One particularly dirty lens that was just sitting on top of a small aluminum table OUTSIDE of ISCT10 enclosure along with viewers and such (not used for anything, but who'd put a lens OUTSIDE of the table enclosure?) was thrown away. Finger print and scratches all over. At some stage all the lights of the card reader went out. This was found by me later when I tried to swipe out of ISCT10, I called the control room, and Jonathan Berliner found that ISCT10 was "offline", whatever that means. LSO (Dani) reset my card so I was able to continue working, but ISCT10 is still "offline". Did somebody cut off the power to the access system for this table?

Addenda: - I tried following up with as many Door Forced alarms as possible, but was successful less than 10% of the time in reaching the culprits by phone. They will not be recorded in my future logs. Currently, WAPAC reads Off-line for LVEA, but people report that it works. - Ignore all ion pump alarms.
Mark Barton and I are continuing testing of Quad 2 and developing the testing procedures. Tests look good for main chain. However, there are some issues with the reaction chain, which we will continue working on tomorrow.
Removal of H2 Electronics from LVEA continues.
Just saying.

Locked down ITMX, ITMY, and BS. ITMX and ITMY have eLigo glass earthquake (EQ) stops - BS has iLigo viton EQ stops. On ITMs I used the four EQ stops on the face of the optic to push it onto the back EQ stops, securing it without having to remove the elliptical baffle, or working near OSEMs. On the BS, I used EQ stops on both sides to secure the optic. Both ITMs: All EQ stops showed some evidence of martial removal where the EQ stops contact the optic chamfer. ITMY: When looking at the face of the optic, the Lower Right EQ stop seemed to be very close to the optic. It's very possible that the venting of the chamber shifted the optic position, so it's unclear if this was the situation under vacuum. ITMX: When working with Patrick I turned one EQ stop (LR when looking at the otic face) too far and slightly ground the glass, which could be heard, effectively showing him what not to do. Contamination: Evidence of particulate in all BSCs, and HAM3.
Dani and Keita ISCT7 has been cleared of all optics and other components, excepting the large PDs (which Richard will take), the accelerometers (needs plugs pulled), and a rotation stage (needs plugs pulled).

(Eric A., Corey G.) After the BSC1 cleanroom was engaged we were given the go-ahead to finish the dirty job of roughing the concrete for the HAM12 Piers. This work was completed around 5:30 (well, almost complete: I cleaned up most of our mess, but there are quite a few items we need to put away---will leave this for tomorrow). The floor around HAM12 was sweeped and then wet-mopped. We also utilized a HEPA fan to help keep our mess to a minimum, and this worked out great (thanks Rick & Eric!). I will close out our work permit tomorrow when our mess is cleaned up.
Richard and Filiberto started pulling the H2 electronics from the LVEA. H0:FMC-MX_CY_H2O_PUMPSTAT is failed. See Ski's elog Sno Valley came to look at the part numbers for the pump. Keita and Dani started pulling optics from ISCT7. Rick rigged up a HEPA filter near HAM12 to pull in the dust from the scouring. Corey and Eric finished the prepping work for the HAM12 pier anchor bolts. Kyle closed GV1, GV2, GV10 & GV11, started venting the vertex and HAM6. Gerardo removed the H2-ETMY transmission monitor. Jodi and Ski prepped for the BSC1 vent and worked on the clean room at mid Y. Apollo cleaned at Y end. Cyrus turned tidal off. John Zweizig started migrating the DMT viewers to the advanced ligo configuration. Dave removed the disconnect channels from the EDCU. Reboldt worked at the LSB.
Started pulling optics etc. from ISC 7. General purpose mounts, beam dumps etc. are restocked in the optics lab cabinets. Most of labeled optics are put in boxes and stored in ISC cabinets, some are returned to the optics lab. The work will continue several days more.
Closed GV10 and GV11 (Ski et al. craning scissor lift over VE). Note GV11 "clanked" atypically when gate cammed closed. Started CS purge air compressor*Closed GV1 and GV2*Started Vertex, XBM and YBM QDP80s and Main turbo pumps*Vented Vertex and HAM6 volumes simultaneously (note: new requirement to maintain <0.5 atm pressure difference across HAM6 septum as the result of design flaw awarness-see Mike Z., Dennis C., John W., Albert L.)*Isolated BSC1 annulus ion pump*removed all but (4) door bolts from BSC1 South door
DCS (LDAS) transitioned to A6 (meaning "After S6") on Oct. 20, 2010, shortly after 8 am local time. During this time period all raw (L0) data at LHO and LLO is being copied to the site LDAS archives, and also is being transferred to the CIT LDAS archive, whenever this data is available from any of the DAQ (CDS) framewriters. The same holds for second-trend and minute-trend data. We continue to rsync any new DMT data, whenever it is available, but no LDAS RDS data is being generated during this time period. Note that the raw (L0) data will soon be pared down to mostly PEM data, and there will be no interferometer data until squeezing data and aLIGO test data begins to be written to the raw frames. Thus, if you are looking for data "After S6" outside of the control room, ask about A6 data.
